I'm about to change a blown piston, and looking around on the net there seams to be diffrent sizes (i thought it was a standerd size for the 300tdi). How do i measure the size of the piston and rings needed?
if its been bored out it will have numbers stamped onto it, on its crown i think, something like +30 or the like. get a vernier and measure the bugger, and i mean a good vernier calliper.
