Most owner lower their nice new 4x4 by a few inches as soon as the salesman

I went in to a Toyota dealer recently with a view to replacing my Disco.
When I asked if I could test one off-road, or asked questions like approach
and departure angles; the guy looked at me as though I was from another
planet.

I expect he's been told that 4x4 is another name for School bus! ))

I challenge you to go visit any school at random in your locality at
dropping off/picking up time and then decide whether 4x4's are school
buses based upon the Mums who insist they've got to have one of these
vehicles for little Jesse being able to get to/from school.

No not pink. It was a metallic blue. They had obviously spent a lot of money
on whatever they had done. The wheel arches where about six inches and
painted the body colour. It just seemed a strange thing to do. (Unless it
has hydraulic pumps that pump it up ). It was hugging the road and
travelling very slow. OK it's only my opinion but what a waste of money.
Jealous yes. Just think what you could do with the money wasted (IMO). So
you buy a new Rav4, you then buy wide wheels and tyres, have a body job done
and then lower the suspension. (Probably lots more). OK so its their money
and they can spend it how they want. Someone somewhere is now having an
orgasm over it and wants one themselves. What would you do with the money ?

Well.... though my son is delighted, my daughter (16) plain refuses to be
delivered to school in my 4X4.

My kids loved my Niva when I had it. They are both under 7 though so the
fact it wasn't cool didn't come in to it!
