Ive bought a second hand adjustable tow bar for the landy (Dixon Nate jobbie), I've only held it upto the back this evening but the angle if the brackets that go back to the chassis look wrong, does anyone have any pics of the underside of a 90 300tdi (@ rear), if its got the tow bar fitted that may help even more I've scoured all over but can't find any shots of the underside :-(
Just wondering if mine has been modified somewhat underneath or it's the wrong bracket :-s

Got a Dixon Bates on my 300 TDi (1994) Defender 90 - fitted it a couple of months back.

Put a photo on someone else"s thread of the rear but not the underside - I'll see if I can find it.

Top holes of Dixon Bates plate bolt through bottom holes for rear cross member - that sets you up for the right placement for the rest.

Bars from bottom of Dixon Bates go to the 'welded on 'flaps' of metal' on the rear chassis - each 'flap' has two holes and they secure using the smaller bolts provided.

The bars when fitted are not horizontal - on the '90' they are angled up from the Hitch Plate to the Chassis mounting location

Its the drop down plates I'm referring to, and how the plates attach (what angle).......I think lol

The bar I have bought has the mounting arms going back under the rear but the angle looks wrong, the drop down plates on the chassis look to be 90 degrees with the rear cross member and the bar brackets are around 45 degrees (approx from what i could tell holding the bar up and looking in the dark lol ) ?

A pic would speak a thousand words if anyone has one, I'm begining to think the towbar is from a newer model and not the 300 tdi as I was told it was
