any chance you could give us a hand on where to go in wales and where to look on what maps coz we are thinking of easter as well

There's loads of routes in Mid & North Wales. Get the OS Outdoor leisure 1:25,000 maps wales any good bookshop will have them. And look for a line of green crosses. They're greenlanes. but you still need to check that they're ok to drive and haven't been TRO'd. you'd be much better asking around on the 4x4 forums to try and tag on to a group who have already arranged a trip, Like this one http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f37/easter-shindig-51919.html?highlight=easter+shindig As This way you won't be alone you'll know that (hopefully) the lanes your driving are legal and you'll get to meet new friends.
