Afternoon all.
Brothers 300tdi had a buckled pulley, he got a new pulley wheel for a disco 1 300tdi and it's grooved rather than smooth..... Can it still be used or is this a different part?

different part pas pulley uses back of belt

So somehow he's been sent the wrong pulley? It definitely said it was a 300tdi pas pulley.

Anyone got a part number for the smooth one?

Amazing James thank you. So out of curiosity is their a setup with a serpentine belt that where the pas pulley is on the inside of the belt? Just don't understand what this pulley is!

not that i know of other engines use ribbed pulleys

Don't suppose anyone in the Peterborough area has one of these pulleys today? Desperately want to get this replaced!

If u have been sold a ribbed pulley then u have a 3.9 V8 one

Ah that solves that mystery, bloody hell now just need to find a smooth one on a Sunday, hmmmm
