Ok for the ones that have been following my previous posts you'll know i need some parts. (again lol)

so can anyone suggest what make's i should or shouldn't go for parts i need are.

thermostat
temp sensor

there's a lot of options both on eBay and eurocarparts ranging from cheap to SILLY prices lol.

i know these parts are not mega bucks but trying to keep cost down as low as possible already spending what i haven't got haha

thanks for any advice guys just don't want to put in a new part that i'll just have to change again in 3 to 6 months

If I had to purchase such items I might go to. http://www.island-4x4.co.uk/britpart-m-27.html And get he Britpart items after all both items are just basic stuff or Eurocarparts as they are nearer and stock Intermotor stuff I believe. An issue can arise even with an expensively item.

Also some of us don't know a thing about your previous posts, so an indication on the model etc of disco may be handy for a more considered reply.

300tdi disco 1
reasons for buying parts: takes a lifetime/hill or high speed running to get to temp and will lose temp while general driving.
i'll check out island 4x4 now see what they got :)

new question related to the thermostat lol there seems to be 2 types one that opens at 78 and one that opens at 88 degree's what one would you guys suggest haha

Iv it's not getting warm then get the 88 .. let it get hotter before opening.

Ok I read that thread,;) I've see similar in the past stating all Tdi' run cool so the cab heater isn't all, that better if the fan is removed.

Anyway my old RR had a perthectic heater when it got 5c and below, so I know what it's like, and that was for the 10 years I owned it, nothing could be done when I told the Dealers service department although I understand they did try to improve the heater output, so l restricted the air flow into the rad with a bit of cardboard every winter which made the output from the heater just bearable.

Much better now with the disco heating system, warm air from the heater within a mile and turning down the heat after a 3 miles. But then that's a petrol engine for u. :)
