Hi guys,
As the title says, I have a problem with my 1993 4.2 LSE where the parking break engages the coolant light on the dash but the parking break light never turns on.

Can anyone help with this please?

With the parking brake OFF try disconnecting the sensor wires on the coolant expansion tank & see if the coolant level warning light comes on.
Sounds like a dash panel wiring issue, is this a recent problem?

This is part of one of the biggest problems I have with my 93 LSE. The brake light, as will as the coolant level warning light will come on. When that occurs there is no power to the heater and center console. The problem comes and goes.

I went to the techs at our main dealer and they were stumped by what causes it.

Sounds like an earth issue (most likely) or interconnected wiring, possible melted harness somewhere

Surprised they know what a Classic is
Job for a auto-lecky who knows older motors I reckon, not many around now.
