Can anybody tell me where I could get hold of an exploded diagram of the internal workings of the mirrors ? I don't need info re the wiring, just the mechanical bits and I have never been inside one.
Plastic casings are fine but something will have to be done about the glass on each.

Done that and couldn't find anything in there. Maybe I should look again.

You're right, there isn't much info around on how to change the glass, in theory its a simple process, in practice it can be a pain. I have changed a glass on a Disco II which is same, and I did it ok, but maybe that was beginners luck! Recommend you get the plastic clip to go with when doing it.

The things ye' get accused of ! I never called him Ian !! I just said there's a heluva lot of Ian's in here !! I just happened to notice that when I went into the members list and was looking for IrishRover.
You could be called a lot worse than Ian....at least I have.
