I used to have a disco 2 but hatted it with a passion and sold it, on saturday i picked up a 4.6 HSE, it's just had a new cross bolted engine fitted only 2 months ago, it's also fitted with a pinns LPG kit, this is only 14 months old too.

I have driven it 500 miles allready and im loving my new armchair , i do have a few problems though.

1. the key phob doesn't work but the led on the dash flashes when you lock it with the key, any tips!
2. the sunroof doesn't open, have checked the fuse, what else can i check?

Im also on the hunt for a few bits, im after the cover on the drivers side piller, next to the windscreen, it's cream in colour, any recommendations ?.

1. the led on the dash is for the alarm which will arm when you lock it
2. check the switch, check the motor and check the wiring

the prinz lpg system is the best you can get.

you may need to re sync the key fob . put the key in the door, and while holding down the lock button on the fob , lock the door with the key.

still holding down the lock button , return the key to the centre position.

then with the key still in the door hold down the unlock button on the fob and unlock the door with the key.

remove the key from the door and try to lock it with the remote. hopefully this will sort it out

try manually undoing/unwinding your sunroof i think its in the rr manual how to do it ,as it may have stuck over time and by opening manually will get it moving then give it an oil ,if all fails try to see if power is getting to the roof or take switch off and touch the 2 wires inside switch together
