Hi all. I wondered if anyone has seen an odd wear pattern on rear discs where the pads are only acting on the outer half inch surface of the disc? They are new discs and pads. Pistons and sliders are free. It's like the discs are thicker on the outside edge than the rest of the friction surface? I have never seen this before.

But do 2 of the 4 have the C shape cutout in the metal backplate?

It changes the pad to disc angle to reduce wear & squeal.

Both sides of the disc?

Can you get a Vernier guage and see if the disc is the same thickness all the way?
