Hi all

have just upgraded the sun visor on the passenger side to one with a light in sounds good i hear you say, but no not working have plugged into the wirring loom in behind the vannity light but no go.

question would this be controlled by the BECM as I just had a standard mirror sunvisor setup or should it just work and maybe the buld or the wire is dead ?

your thoughts please

thanks

Tony:)

I have not seen anything in the BECM setting on my faultmate for this, unless it is to do with the model.... HSE

Hi

yes tried with the lights on still no good was told it was checked and working prior to sending from flebay.

maybe will attach the wires to the central light, does the mirror flap act as an on / off switch or will it be constantly on does any one know ?

thanks for the thoughts

Tony:)

The power does come from the BeCM for the Sun Visor lamps so maybe it needs activating. Not at home at the moment and I can't remember how it's switched on/off. Sorry.

Hi

well that explains it then, so does anyone know how to activate the power lead from the BECM please ?

Hi all

problem now solved took a live feed from the interior light and hey presto we have a sun visor with working lights on and off via the mirror flap.

left the black earth lead in the loom so grounded as should be.

so beat the BECM until next time.

best regards to all

Tony:)
