My heated front screen has stopped working. I used it a week ago and it worked ok, since then nothing happens. It may sound trivial but I live in Sweden and temperature has just gone below zero, so scraping ice off the screen will become a twice-daily habit for the next 5 months or so! Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Hi All. I have a problem with heated screen, drivers side works, a couple of rows in the middle work and the passengers side does not work. Anybody know how the screen is fed? I thought that it would either work or not work!!

Thanks for the advice, Tiga. I haven't had a chance to check the fuses yet. Thought it odd that they both would go at the same time. Is there anything that would indicate which relay is the one for the heated screen? Have looked at the Rage CD but without any luck so far.
Goldpanner, there are two fuses for the heated screen and I think I remember reading somewhere that one is for the lhs and the other for the rhs, possibly explaining your problem.

Thanks Robwill, Yes! since posting the question, I had access to an Autodata CD last night and it showed fuse F32 as being for the LH screen heater & F30 as the RH heater. I will check for the Relay later if I get the opportunity.

Hi Robwill. Relays for heated winscreen.4 is RHS & 5 is LHS. that is on my 2.5 DSE. If you let me know the vehicle I will look it up on autodata. The only way I can send you a diagram of the fuse & Relay layout is by fax or e-mail.

Robwill. I think I should be able to describe the locations in the Engine bay fuse/relay box.
Starting at the corner diametrically opposite to the empty corner, and counting along the long side, the corner relay is no.1 then no.2 etc
on fuses, the end fuse next to relay no.2 is fuse no. 24, then 25 etc. hope that helps.
