A friend is having a few issues with his EAs on his 2001 P38, when I had a look I noticed that the drier for the Air Suspension has been monuted horiztonally due to a cone Air filter being fitted.

Would this cause any long term problems given they are originally mounted vertically.

When air is pumped into the reciever it goes in one direction through drier. Any moisture is trapped in dessicant cystals in drier. When air is exhausted from system air passes in the opposite direction through drier blowing moisture trapped in crystals out of exhaust port. The drier being mounted in this way may compromise it's operation.

As Wammers says, Dryers are position sensitive, it should be upright to work properly.
