Hi guys and gals.. 91plated 90 defender 200tdi.. just fitted a britpart P/S pump. i have flow but no pressure and the steering is not assisted at all.. i think the new pump is faulty, any other idea's ?

Ye did bleed the system through didn't ye? If so. it must be the really ****e quality of the ****part pump!!

Did you connect the hoses the right way round?

Hi guys..
the pipes will only fit one way and yes bled system and even bled box.. i think the pressure relief valve aint workint right in the pump.. approx 2 week wait not to send it back , have it inspected and then they will tell me whats happening..... bummer

tell em you are without transport and are going to hire a car and bill them directly for it. taking the **** making you wait 2 weeks for them to tell you it's a piece of crap.
