Evening gentle man.l need help with my 2000 p38 4.6 lpg.Twice now the car has cut out on lpg when its low. I got it going again and switched it back to lpg, within a few seconds it over heated. On both occasions both lpg and petrol were low.Topped up both and it runs fine.First time it did this l had a gas test and a pressure test all was well.Today it lost most of its coolant.l topped it up and is driving fine on petrol lv not used the lpg yet.

No idea about the lpg fault all I know is LPG burns hotter. Have you filled your cooling system properly? I had real trouble getting mine filled and all the air out I took the top hose off in the end and shouved a hose pipe into the top hose. Sorted it been fine ever since

Thank you biketeacherdave l told my mechanic and agrees with you. Some of the cooling lpg pipes are above the bleed pipe and expansion tank so its harder to get rid of all the burbles. So l jammed a hose like u said and now all pipes are solid and warm

My mechanic thinks the lpg vapouriser is faulty as he has had lpg cars with similar issues.
