got a 2a petrol all stock standard, gonna put an overrdrive in in the future but which one? years ago had a series 2 with a fairey overdrive and a 2 1/4 perkins diesel but things have probably improved over the years. Don't want to spend an arm and a leg but I don't want one made out of cardboard either!!!! just value for money. Any suggestions

Stick to Fairey if you can find a good one.

Pistonheads, exchange and mart...behind the sofa....but they do crop up mainly on ebay.

Might be cheaper to just stick the 4.3 diffs in as good fairey overdrives are very expensive.

4.3 diffs? Range rover I assume, about 30% better top end if my research is correct. would it be a straight swap? in out shake it all about, or messing with crown heads, half shafts etc
