I am considering treating our classic to a new batt.

Any thoughts on whether its worth the extra dollar for an optima compared to standard willl be greatly appreciated.

If you are going to use it a lot off road and you have a winch fitted then yes, go with the optima - otherwise just buy a good heavy duty battery and spend the change on petrol or summat
