hi there, im currently looking to get some new tyres for my disco. been looking at the greenway macho's. now ive only seen them as remoulds. what are peoples views on remoulds. i.e how long they last, dangerous or not?

not dangerous, used to be really REALLY dodgy, but have vastly improved recent years. Also are used on freight lorries etc so gotta be pretty good for takin a serious poundin. I got A/T retreads on mine, and are fine.Feel very safe on't road and when I did a bit of offroadin in another landy with same type retreads was very impressed with how they handled quite ruff terrain.
all in all a good inexpensive option.

ive got standard steel wheels on the disco. what sort of size tyre would i need and would i need different wheels if i was to fit the kumhos?

cheers james

Seein as we're on about remoulds and tyres, what do peeps think about insa turbo's? thinking of getting either the Ranger or Mountain ones (both AT's) but cant tell the difference either

insa's are a good remould. their compound is pretty mid range so they last quite well. for the price they are worth the money but at the end of the day they are still a remould.

hey sirus whats the road noise like with them tyres compared to at's.....is there much difference......cheers
