About to dip my toe in the water and buy a TDV8. I've found this one that I like ( https://www.lodgemotor.co.uk/vehicl...ampshire-c47d6157-90f8-4668-9327-b31e00fb6d0c )haven't seen it in the flesh yet but looking for opinions please or advice as to what to look out for.

It seems like there was an upgrade in 2018, interior wise anyway, and these models command a fair premium. This one is pre-upgrade.

Any advice ? Also, for a pre-purchase inspections, would anyone have any specialists that they'd recommend and could do it ? Failing that, I presume itll be RAC/AA.

Never owned one but I do know that when they were face-lifted, they fitted steering wheel buttons that are like a touch panel with haptic feedback. Bloody awful to use, the proper button on this are better in my opinion.

I also know that the front knuckles split, it's fairly well documented, don't know if it's a recall item but I'd want to check that out at bit (search LR Time on YouTube as they've covered it well).

I would't buy the v6 but you've already addressed that concern with this one

Let us know, I am really starting to like the L405 but I don't think I'll act on that for a few years yet... who knows?
