Check the brake lights aren't on. My brake-light switch was paying up a few weeks back and it just flashed without changing heights. I just cleaned it with contact cleaner and it has been OK since. Wasn't on the bump-stops mind!

Brake lights all OK compressor fecked fitted new compressor pressure output good car still won't rise left the engine running for 15 mins with the door open, looks like the old compressors been working over time so may have a leak somewhere will have another look later after work.

Check the diaphragm or shut the doors. :D

Repair kit ordered complete kit so can repair the compressor at the same time, diaphragm does seem to be the most common failure so will see when I strip it down

Oh I did shut them eventually what diaphragm???????

Diaphragm in valve block that seals the exhaust port and allows air to go into tank from compressor. If it is leaking air will go straight to atmosphere. Look in the "How to" section. Ok see you have found it.

Yes thanks wammers iv had a good read up new seal kit ordered

So iv ordered 2 different kits 1 is just the diaphragm meant to be here today the other not until next week will see if it turns up I'll replace the diaphragm first to get the was up n running I had no other problems with then do a full was block overhaul n pump rebuild

Quick update, arrived home from work diaphragm arrived so got the tools out swopped it out took all of 30 mins if that well done wammers I can get it up again.

When the full eas rebuild kit arrives I will refurb the whole eas block and recon my old pump and keep that one one the boot as me spare.

As a side note how often during normal use should the pump run ?? Mine seems to be coming on an awaful lot but maybe I'm just noticing it more now iv had a pump failure
