Ok, on a roll now sorting little things out.

Tried the CCU test mode today - very nice. However during the test, when it gets to seat belt warning light - i noticed it did light up on my dash.

If it lights in the test, i guess it's fitted - so how come i never see it otherwise? Or is it fitted but not active?

(honestly cant remember if i've seen it on normally in the past - had the car 8 years now...long time to remember details)

think it's one of those things that the ecu/ccu is capable of, irrespective of whether it's fitted.

Not sure that was for the uk market.

It is marked with an asterisk on page 54 of the manual, as is overspeed indicator, and cruise control, so I guess it is one of those "where fitted" things.

No sensors were fitted as this is not a legal requirement for UK or EU.

USA got them.

And maybe a few other markets.
