If you've got air con in the back, you could probably re-route the ducting to the centre cubby box.
The ducting already goes either side of it, a bit Dremmelling and some duct would probably make it possible.
Of course, it'd also heat the cubby box in the winter....

I have after a few years on here, come to the conclusion that some members from time to time come up with some really stupid ideas. Usually but not exclusively Dopey. ;);):D:D:D

I hate it when I am not exclusive, so about the heated steering wheel........

Have steering wheel cover made from aluminium. Apply blow torch to entire surface of said wheel for thirty seconds before grabbing hold of it. Enjoy. :D:D

Oh yes, the E type was like that new.

I've had two convertibles, the E type and a Ford Consul. You always had a warm feeling driving the E type no matter how cold it was. But the Consul was bloody painful in winter if you were entertaining in it. Cost a bloody fortune running the engine to try and keep anything like warm. Many activities were curtailed due to frost intervention. Used to create some seriously firm nipples though. ;):D:D

I think I bought one of your Consul's, it had stilleto heel marks in the head lining.:D:D

My Series II is cold in the winter, I got a fume curtain for it, and it did make a difference, less space to heat up
