James R New Member Aug 20, 2011 #1 Hi all, I just bought a 1981 RR 2 door. Standard 3.5 engine. Oil pressure gauge says little or no oil pressure, oil temp very near the maximum but the water temp is fine. Engine running OK. I checked the oil and it has enough and isn't too black. Any ideas? thought it was mine! New Member Aug 20, 2011 #2 try searching v8 oil pump read a thread on here about they need primin filling with vas to get them to pick up.is ther oil at top of engine could be knackered switch?
