wat really does your head in when driven a little red light flashing at you get in the car in the morning starts up great off we go to work as it warms up the oil light starts flashing on so with just haven the car a few week i give it an oil an fillter change still doing the flashy thing changed the pressur switch still the same but the oil pressur is normal could it be the wrong pressur switch or am i looking forward to a big bill please help

i think i may have a similar prob , can you tell me where the oil pressure switch is located , is it a DIY job to replace it .

ps. what about the oil pump , is that a major engine dismantle op

I know, that's why I asked the question!

Lets wait and hear what Helpme says, but yes it is a fairly big job to replace the pump, and no it isn't too hard to replace the switch. Got a Haynes? If not, pop across to Halfords or buy a used one from Ebay for half the price.
