hi chaps, any ideas with this one, ordered a new O ring today, just wondering how they should be installed? should the o ring be placed in the hole of the sump then the dipstick installed, or put it on the dipstick tube then insert into the hole?

Put it on dipstick and then install, there are two notches on the top of the dipstick plastic (where the rod enters the handle). There should be two o-rings, thats what I have at least, the o-rings fit in there notches.

nooo i mean where the dipstick tube enters the sump. thats where its leaking. sorry my dodgy description of the fault i think.
