Hi everyone
Since curing the overheating incident the P38 2.5 diesel 2001 has been trouble free for a a few thousand miles.
I fitted one of those erg bypass kits, removing the penny block and the old valve, not sure if it was placebo but it seemed to run a little better since fitting.
However I checked under the bonnet today after a London to Cornwall run and there was a substantial oil leaking from where the new bypass tube hits the intake manifold (metal to metal)
There just seems to be so much oil in the induction system.
I know this has been covered recently but this just doesn't seem normal
How can I cure this, there is a weep on the turbo outlet side, I did not Hylomar it when I assembled it about 13000 miles ago, where is all this oil coming from or is it normal for an engine with 140k on it.
Thanks in advance
Ash
