Just after some advice. Purchased 2007 freelander 2 hse 3.2L petrol. Mechanic advised oil in coolant.
Qu. Does this freelander have an auto cooling system or an oil cooler on the engine?
I have read so many threads, but not relating to this vehicle.

While there are 377k posts in the LZ Freelander section and only 8k in AULRO's Freelander section, you may get more help there as there's not many i6's in the UK. Should think Aus is more like NZ where there are more i6's on the road.

Alternatively, maybe a Volvo forum, although I think LR did modify the oil system somewhat for the Freelander.
