I have an LT77 gearbox connected to a discovery 2 transfer box. Am I right in thinking the gearbox should be filled with ATF and the transfer box with EP? Thankyou for any answers.

ATF II and EP 80/90, as far as I know. Although there's a long-running debate about if it's actually now recommended to use MTF in the main gearbox!

ATF or MTF in the gearbox, EP90 in the transfer box.

ATF in the box. MTF is recommended for later boxes but many are going back to ATF.
