hi everyone , some would look at my problem as a bit of rustproofing but my new gearbox leak is proving popular with my drives owner !!!!

visited a local garage and a landy specialist to ask about having the leak sorted but neither wanted to do the job !!!

any ideas who would near chelmsford , essex .. (cash,tea and biscuits waiting if it's a driveway have ago hero ! )

Mansfield 4x4 in maningtree, they are very very good guys when it comes to landys, I have used them for alor of work over the years. Also MJS gearbox services in ipswich may be an option, again have used them many times..

was hoping for somehere a bit closer as the logistics of leaving my car there for them to sort it is a nightmare !!! would have used mansfields a few years ago as i lived in manningtree and know the companys founder duncan quite well ...
moved further south into ssshhhuuuuuttttt up land for work

What about getting a local garage to remove the box and then someone like MJS to refurb it? I would happily say come to me but im in harwich so even further, I wouldnt hesitate at doing a job like that, my guys would relish something other than a focus or astra!
