Can any give me a link to some free OBD2 software?
Thanks in advance
Is there any software that can be brought to work with the standard OBD cable?
Only the engine ECU is OBD compliant (uses EOBD)I've been looking at the Faultmates. The software is expensive for home use. I assume you can do alot more with the Faultmate than the standard OBD laptop software?

The Faultmate is professional standard and covers everything on the P38, Nanocom covers almost everything and is cheaper and does not need a laptop.
Keith, have you a nanocom now? I'm thinking of buying one, am I right in thinking that you can buy extra vehicles ( such as disco TD5 ) for the same unit? Just have to swap memory card? Or would I need another unit? Ie one nanocom for p38 and another one for disco TD5?
Cheers
Nanocom services several vehicles all you need to do is get one then add vehicles to it. You then after parting with around £45.00 get an unlock code for the new addition. Not locked any one vehicle Vin.

No I don't have a Nanocom so not sure what it covers apart from the P38 at the moment as I haven't looked recently![]()
Think there's more support for the p38 with the nanocom than the l322.
As far as I can see the faultmate MSV is the best for the l322, I want one but can't face the £900 price tag !! That's locked to one vehicle !! It's a con !![]()
Not when you consider the development and ongoing support costs it's not![]()
It would cost you £10K for autologicI understand it obviously costs but no need to be soo expensive![]()
