Hi There All, I Am New To Land Rover And Have Just Aquired A 90 Td5 County 90 With All The Spec On It.just A Concern I Have Is That The Gearchange Especially From 2nd To 3rd Is A Bit Notchy, Is This Normal????

From what I've read on here it's not neccessarily normal but it's not abnormal either. Try taking your time with gear changes, double de clutching, and check that the gear lever springs are set up correctly.

thanks for that, its ok if you change gear gently, i guess its because its a defender!!!!!

Yea, not being a racing car and all it requires a carefull gear change, also, make sure you are not trying to change when going to fast, if you get the gear changes bang on, they will go into gear noticibily smoother, as the baulk rings are not having to work the same.
