Watcha!

Any of you wise old Land owls know of an easy fitting type of front seats from other manufacturer?

I just need 2 fronts and the less work the better!

Just get a pair of rebuild kits ( new sponges and skins etc ) for ur current ones easier and cheaper than bodging in any thing else

Yeah I'd agree its much easier to refurbish the original ones.
The only non-standard seats that ever fitted well enough in my defender were a pair of old bucket seats from the rally car but even so they were'nt practical for daily use.

Any views on Mazda rx8 seats? They are quite inexpensive for a good pair of leather ones

Loads of people have done it. Search the forum. It was only a few weeks/months back that a very detailed thread was posted on the subject.

Another one here for RX8 seats. I managed to pick up a set of full leather RX8's in genuinely near pristine condition for £150 from a great seller on GumTree. I plan to make my own seat risers and fit in the New Year. + not too keen on the silver plastic triangles...thinking of wrapping a piece of matching reinforced leather around the plastic moulding and refit with black button hole screws

Mines fitted with volvo seats, very comfortable.
I didn't fit them, came fitted look good feel good.
