My TD5 110 has developed a strange noise, almost like a rubbing, coming from the front when taking LH bends especially at about 30mph, goes again when straightening out of the bend. Can hear it but cannot feel any vibration through the floor. Have had an initial look around but cannot see any obvious problems (bearings seem good) any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Dry CV joint. Get some grease into it pronto. Had the same noise myself 6 months ago and it took ages to track it down. It was worse when it was cold. Gave it some of the one-shot grease and it dont make any noise.
