just doesn't work! No wiper, no squirtie, no heated screen.....!

All the wires are there, just no power to it at all . Fuses are all fine before you ask........

Any ideas?

Sounds like a duff earth.
Try running a temp earth from a shiney screwhead on tailgate to a shiney earth on body or straight to battery neg post if you can.

What car is it? Are you getting 12V at the screen element connections with the switch on, does the switch light come on?

have a look at the connection between the door and body of car, if theres a cut/graze in wires repair with some crimp connections and a bit of spare wire!
