hi, i,ve got a 2002 110 with a td5alive chip which has caused no problems in the past 12 months i,ve had it.recently it seems to be drinking a lot of diesel and seems to have lost its power.today the engine management light came on every now and then with no obvious change to the engine performance.
any ideas ? :confused:

The lack of power sounds like it could be down to a faulty MAF sensor. The management light coming on could be due to another common fault which is a faulty fuel trap sensor on the fuel filter. Check the injector loom for signs of oil contamination too. This too will give loss of power and can illuminate the management light.
