Hi folk's, just registered having been an onlooker for sometime now and have gleaned some great advice and help from the forum. Had a couple of Discoveries in the past and as a punishment for a life of laid back happiness have now purchased a P38 to balance the accounts! This represents a well past mid life crisis and represents quite a challenge for someone who can just about change a wheel, (when all else fails)! I have had my wagon for a couple of months during which time I have got her relatively well sorted cosmetically and mechanically. Out with the too big alloys and gangster window tint, boy was that satisfying, new brakes and a full service completes my ensemble thus far. Two things are however puzzling me, the handbrake warning light is stuck on permanently and moving off from stop I get three beeps from the alarms every time? Any clues anyone? Anyway i love the old girl and when the funds are there, new tyres and alignment is my next stage.
