Just joined to help find a few tips on my project (110 to be fitted out for UK/Europe camping).

2 early questions:

1) On some threads I can't see the photos. I get a Photobucket logo that then seems to ask me for $400 when I go to the suggested link. Think I'd rather spend the money on kit. Is there something I need to do to my account to sort out how to get the pictures. Example thread is:

2) Which is best forum for asking kit / part sourcing questions? The expeditions one seems best, but have I missed one?

Hello GNJ, welcome to the zone. Don't worry about the photo bucket thing a lot us can't see pic posted in this way so we just have to miss out. Most people just upload straight from their phone/iPad/computer nowadays. I can't really help with the second question as I have never felt the need to bling me motor.

But I thought the whole point of a Land Rover was to bolts things on!!

Yes, but mostly you bolt on the bits that keep falling off. My Landy can't cope with hanging on to the bits it left the factory with, so adding other bits will be asking to much of it. Have fun.
