Just got home with my new toy "in tow", literaly, LOL... its an old Disco with no drive, bought on ebay localy and I'm hoping it'll not be much to get it driving... Time to get oily..

Looking forward to getting muddy again..

Its a 200 TDi.. Taxed and MOT'd at under 500, it'll be a good buy if its something simple, if not then questionable, but either way it'll soon be on the road.. The Transfer box lever apears to do nothing so i'm hoping its just the linkage. I'l be getting the floor out very soon.. just got to take "the boss" shopping first...

I will, but my feeling is for transfer box at the moment.

Looks tidy from the pics, hopefully there not too much wrong with her.

mmm, Got the rubber cover off and the long plate off the rear casing. Transfer box is all ok, engages properly although the linkage is sloppy.. no drive from the gearbox although you can feel the gates all ok, is it just the clutch i wonder? anyhow, it looks like a full gearbox out to find it... I'll start getting the floor out tomorrow.
