hello. I have a 51 plate discovery. so far I have changed 2 hubs, shocks, prop uj and various rubber bits. oh and the fuel pump, plus fuel/air filter. its still a nightmare to start, unless it seems to want to start first time. can be like a rocket or a dog. it has started cutting out now too as I come to a halt. but I seem to have a bond with it, annoyingly..

ER... well is it diesel or petrol? If it's diesel then TD5, if it's petrol then V8

IF it's a TD5 the problem may be with the injector seals if it cuts out when running and sometimes doesn't want to start. Maybe...
Once it's running does it behave? No misfires? IF it's rough, there might be oil in the injector loom. Check the red plug on the ECU..
