Afternoon Gentlebodies:)

Friday afternoon laziness can someone else do the thinking for me type quaestion.:)

I bought a nice new light bar a couple of months ago but not fitted it yet.

I was assuming you fit the spots to the bar then find a resonable position to mount brackets in the gutter so the spots sit where you want them (hanging down from the bar) say a wee bit infront of the windscreen. Bar is not a particularly low level one, so could probably fit spots back from the top of the windscreen.

Is this the way to go?

I havent got the spots yet as cash low. If I fitted it now, would it all go pair shapped or is there an obvious position on the gutter to fit the brackets?

I'd say wait till you get the spots. Especially if it's one that you need to make holes in the gutter for. Depending on how high it is and how big the spots are you might want to move it backward or forward to get the right angle down.

Wait for the spots. :D

Out of interest, I lowered my clamps (cut/weld) and put the spots low and close to the screen.

Wait for spots, will be sooooooo much easier to fit them to the bar off the car and do all the wiring, and easier to get it to the perfect position :)
