Hi all, sorry I just wrote a really good introduction then lost it just before I presses the post button, so this one won't be as long!!!!
I've just got myself a Defender 90 1991 2.5 TD. It's my first Defender and I'm really keen to use it as intended.
Already my 6 year old and I have been out this morning and found a good green lane which we went up and down 3 times!! Now I think I have the bug and want to do some more.
I am based in Kelvedon Hatch which is a village just outside Brentwood Essex.
I will have lots of questions for you all as having only owned it since Tuesday I have still not managed to stay warm or what all the settings on the gear knobs are for!!!!
My background is all cars! I work for a Main Ford Dealer and in my spare time I buy and sell classics, but this is only really to allow me to drive the cars I love.
Anyway just wanted to say hello and see if anyones local
