Right does anyone have any PDF's of how to fit a Rear window regulator on a Freelander 2002 52 plate, what are the best tips for this and do you have to run the motor to tighten up the cables before fitting to the glass etc..??

Cables are under constant tension due to springs, you just have to position height of clamps for tightening bolts. The cables are set length and are self righting, move one cable and the other moves too
