oil and filters changed and only did 1 outin last month.oil was ok then.
sank very fast in some dirty bog water, all engine was under water.snorkeled up but water still got in

Drop your sump and give it a good high pressure hose down, preferably with a steam cleaner.

Remove the oil filter

Stick it all back together again when it's dried out, fit a new oil filter, top up with oil, and away you go ...

Just as long as you haven't hydraulic-ed it you should be OK.

Had a boat sink with a diesel motor in it, took me 2 days to refloat it, washed it down, changed the oil and filters, and it ran straight off!
Thing is it wasnt running when it sank, damage can be done if ya revving the engine while the water enters (hence the hydraulic lock worries) it also emulsifies very quickly getting pumped into the bearings and oilways.
Would certainly try a flush and a sump scrub then try it before replacing.
