Hi,
Juts got first 2000 V reg Discovery TD5 today and love it already.

Had toi weld the drivers door slider thingy and everything needs a good lube but apart from that, looks ok.

The underside has flaky rust so will wire brush and waxoil soon.

Towbar elecs had cover on, when removed a load of brown water came out so will change plugs.


Is there anything else i shoule do / look at ?

Usual stuff mate, change every oil and refresh every grease you can find, check wheel bearings and prop joints, check rear axle bushes are all ok, check track rod ends, and then wait for the next problem
