Chema Disco v8
Member
Hello all,
I have some great advice before regarding some problems with the superblock and immobilisers on my old disco. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to fix it. Even a locksmith job didn't work as I would need to destroy the doors, and the whole thing would cost me more than a new/second-hand one. Sad end for a car.
I have been able to purchase another v8 from 2000, pretty much the same, but the model with more specs (which I'm not particularly happy with as more things can break) To make sure nothing like this ever happens in the new car, what would you suggest I to do? Should I rent the nanocom again and completely disconnect the superlock, alarm, and immobilizer? I will be sealing the sun roof in the summer, and watertight it for worst weathers, so the previous electrical problems don't come up.....
Perhaps any other mechanical thing as well, to make sure the car is as cared for as possible as soon as I bring it home and start use it?
