Just got my new wheels and tyres, very pleased with them although the Challenger wheels are -25mm offset which makes more of a difference than I thought!

As there are always requests for photos of Defenders with different wheels I thought I'd take some pics

I know some like them and some don't but I went for them rather than modulars just to be a bit different.

What's the offset actually achieve ?? I like them. Bling!!!

If you look at the width of the tyre they ain't that different but the new wheels stick out more. The wheel is more offset (modular is 33mm I think) so these stick out 8mm more. It seems to have made quite a difference but I think the new tyres are a little wider too.

New size is 235/85/16 (yes, they fit on a defender without a lift!!) I'll check the old size tomorrow but I think they were 31 7.5 15's which would be about 190mm wide?

I best be careful or I'll end up asking a wheel and tyre question!!:behindsofa:
