Looking to replace the family Santa Fe with something and wondered how a new 110 would cope? We live in the sticks and have 2 kids and a dog!

Plenty of peeps on here use 110's as family cars with no probs. My 110 is my prefered choice over the astra chav box that my missus uses for work. Even she prefers the landy to the astra.:p

The only negative is the fuel cost compared to the economical astra. I get 600 miles to 50 litres of fuel in my astra versus 400 miles to 75 litres in the landy. My defender does carry a lot of weight all the time and has knobbly tyres on it so I could get an extra few mpg if I was running on less aggressive tyres and with less weight on board.

My 110 is my only vehicle and use it every day for school run, getting to work, shopping etc

Want to weep when I have to fill her up but other than that wouldn't swap to any other vehicle ( well a newer version of the current beast would be acceptable but you know what I mean )

Do you know how many miles you get to a tank?

I dunno. I rekon she'd quite like to have a tank for 'stress relief';):p

I imagine she already d........oh....TANK......sorry

Might help navigation issues anorl.....just point it in the right general direction

It doesn't matter about other people opening their doors on it in the supermarket car park neither.;)

No idea how many mile I get to a tank - never let it run down if I can help it and it'd only make me cry if I knew numbers where as this way I can live in denial and believe that I have the only economic 110 as I have no evidence to the contrary. Am a firm believer that sharp braking and fast pulling away at the lights and a heavy right foot are not necessarily bad for fuel consumption

Would really really really love a tank- would make the gyratory in Rugby a walk in the park in the mornings and like to see anyone try to nick a parking space faced with me :D

Aaaah. The good old...... 'The faster I drive the less time the engine is running technique';):p

well there is that

it's also the faster I drive the less likely I am to shout obscenities to someone who I might have to assess the next day

Think it's inner frustration that causes road rage

Just spend my live at the moment vacillating between wanting sex or cake and denied both :(
