Hi, I'm about to order a new replacement 1/4 rear chassis, who would you recommend Paddocks or Craddocks? Thanks

I think the more important question is who to get to do the prop, jigging and welding. I've recenly spoken to someone who had a local "Land Rover expert" weld on a 1/4 chassis and its out of line. He got some money back but that doesn't fix the problem. I would consider using a fabricators rather than a vehicle specialist as its a tricky job to get it in the right place and get good welds across the top. In the past people have paid good money and later found only part of the welding was done - ie only the bits you could see.

I wouldn’t use either. You might as well get a good one if your going to all that bother.

I think I got mine from Paddocks, hasn't fallen to bits yet.
I did give it a good coat of chassis black even tho it came painted.
