I have found a used Nanocom belonging to a local friend he has sold his Range Rover and will sell it to me
Can I buy the unlock code for this for my Discovery 2 from Bearmach or where ?
Yes you can, but they are not cheap.
But you need to go to the nanocom Black box solutions website also you may need to get the owner switched over to you.

Bearmach got back to me just now, one single Unlock code (NCOM 13) will do both TD5 Engine and Body Systems, £62.50 inc VAT at todays date
To buy brand new, current price today, with a 10% Discount is £378 inc VAT, assuming they would let me use my 10% promo on that .............................
So, assuming it has the correct Blue Lead I need to offer my mate £200

Slight error in communications last night with my buddy ..................
I just went down to Jims, he's not a mechanic etc, just likes to dabble with his own vehicles, very nice guy
it isn't a Nanocom, it is a Britpart Lynx, and it has L322 Ranger Rover, plus 2 other Models, one of which (he thinks) is Discovery 2 ...............................
I have some questions so I will start another thread later. It does say on the box this will do Programming such as Keys Fobs, Alarm Settings etc .............................
My immediate needs are Key Fob PCB's to Program, and also Heated Front Windscreen, in BCM
He has given it to me for now to have a play with on SOR basis.
I will get a Windows Laptop sorted out later today for it with 500Gb Hdd, and see how I get on

It turns out the machine is an older Lynx that runs on a Windows 7 laptop, which suits me as I have a bunch of Dells that I use for various other Dealer Level Diagnostic machines in my Workshop
I'm doing some research right now in between work
I think it will do everything I need, my buddy has let me have it on Sale or return basis, so now I gotta build a Windows based Dell to Install it on, not sure if I will need a different Activation Code for the Software then or if the Activation Code that he has given me with it relates to this particular Lynx kit rather than (the IP ??? of the specific) Laptop its installed on
