Was looking through me Freelander photo's earlier and remembered me vcu has a code stamped on it. It reads:

GKN V "6 numbers" 01 127

Does this mean GKN made the original Freelander vcu's as fitted by Land Rover at the factory, or does mine have a replacement?

I thought GKN only did performance uprated stuff.???????

Thanks. Hopefully this will help us to know which is an original vcu in the vcu torque test results.
